To assist the vulnerable elderly live comfortably, safely and independently.
Our Vision
Reach out to the elderly in an all-inclusive manner across Samburu County.
Samburu Elderly Support Initiative is a need-oriented, registered community-based organization dedicated to addressing the social, economic, spiritual, and individual needs of vulnerable nomadic pastoralist elderly persons in Samburu County.

Since our founding in 2023, we have made meaningful strides in improving the lives of vulnerable elders across Samburu County.
5+ Open ForumsCommunity awareness campaigns reaching hundreds of families in Samburu County.
Food DistributionRegular foodstuff deliveries to all three target communities across Samburu.
Birthday CelebrationsOrganized special birthday events for elderly persons, restoring joy and dignity.
20 Blankets DistributedProvided warm blankets to 20 vulnerable elderly members during cold seasons.
World Elder Abuse DayCelebrated World Elder Abuse Awareness Day with the elderly community.
6 Water BoostersDelivered water to all three target areas using water booster distributions.
Weekly MonitoringConsistent weekly monitoring and follow-up of elderly persons in the program.
